Spring Fling! April 13, 2024
Come out to Sunset Park on Saturday April 13, 2024 for our Spring Fling! This will be our kick-off to our tennis season. There are multiple registration options
Beginner adults and beginner kids (family event!): 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Learn basics then combine with your kids to play some fun tennis games! $20 adults, $10 per child
Lunch cookout: 12-12:30 pm. Meet and greet the coaches and learn about what's new with Tree Town Tennis. Bring some cash! Lunch is not included in entry fee.
Intermediate pro-run adult drill (NTRP 2.5-3.5) followed by informal round robin match play: Drill 12:30-1:30, matches 1:30-2:30. $25.

Beginning steps of becoming a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation for 2024!
We are starting the process of building our own public indoor facility (first of its kind in Boise): Our vision? Community tennis for all, where anybody in town can reserve an indoor court! No membership fees.
Working with the Idaho Tennis Association: You may see us running community tournaments and events!

What a summer! We had a great turnout for our programs, especially the 5-7 year olds. I loved seeing them work hard, make friends, and enjoy tennis! A few news updates:
Fall registration is open for youth. Session is drop-in (sign up for the ones you can attend) and we will go until October 7th officially, then we will play it by ear until the temperature gets below 50 degrees. Here is the link.
Ages 5-7: Saturdays 10-11 am at Sunset Park
Ages 8-10: Saturdays 11 am - 12 pm at Sunset Park
Ages 11+: NEW! Junior High/High School Prep: For those kids who are looking for a little more competition, point play, and getting ready to train to join their middle school/Jr high team or high school team. We are still focused on beginner/intermediate players and will separate the kids based on age and ability.
Adults: TBD: Tomorrow (Sunday): is our last learn to play, 3.0/3.5 drill class, and serve clinic. We will not offer Learn to Play in the fall, but will continue 3.0/3.5 and likely the serve clinic as well. We are thinking about moving the time to Friday mornings. We have yet to make a decision! But check back next week on the registration page or our website to see what is open.
Other news! Congrats, Calix for working hard this summer playing tournaments! He is now the #1 player in the state of Idaho! We are so lucky to have him teaching the kids and adults. :). And. . . speaking of lucky, Calix and I are expecting a new little tennis player to join our family in February 2024! We are excited to welcome the new baby. . .I'm sure you will see her on the court next spring.
